The Tailor's House is owned and operated by Major H. Booth, Jr., who has been in business in Camden
County since 1990. He received professional training as a Master Tailor at Denmark Technical College
in Denmark, South Carolina in 1970. He owned and operated his first tailoring business at the age
of 21 in Conway, South Carolina. He also served in the U.S. Army for three years as a textile tailor.
The Tailor's House now employs a staff of six at its present location, 181-1 Spur 40, St. Marys,
Georgia. Provided services include alterations, embroidery, sewing machine repair, tuxedo rental, dry
cleaning, uniform sales and screen printing.
